Mamadou Saliou Diallo is the brother of Oury Jalloh. His brother was taken to a police station without any valid reason, abused, and ultimately burned to death in a cell in Dessau, with his hands and feet tied to a mattress on the floor.
Since the murder of his brother on 7 January 2005, he has been fighting for truth and justice, as well as against racism, anti-Semitism, and police violence. His commitment is dedicated to his brother and to all other victims in Germany.
He is part of the solidarity network for victims of far-right, racist, and anti-Semitic violence and stands in solidarity with those affected worldwide. In addition, he participates in the court proceedings in his brother’s case, as well as in conferences, commemorative events, and other public gatherings.
